Shipping Report

• Roger's out of town. John's shipping for FOAM, Nov 18th & 19th. HAVE BEERS TO BACCHUS BY 5PM TUES NOV 8TH. $1 per entry. Last high plains comp of the year. Next one is UMMO in January.

• Hoppy Halloween - themed entries are accepted, can be dropped off the day of the comp. Give your entry to John & Amy by Wed night.

• Oktoberfest was a success

• Holiday party:  we need a chair for the committee. We are aiming for Dec 3rd. (Saturday) Looking at maybe doing the bowling alley again.

  • We need to update the high plains website - john will do this
    • John will seek to take over high plains calculations
  • We'd like to get more people to enter competitions, to try to get high plains  club of the year
  • We'd like to get the high plains award back here in KC!
  • Remember to enter the beer in the category where it best fits, which may not be the beer you meant to brew!

• Next week is strong ale week at the saucer. Tapping 3-4 kegs per day.

• Nov 5th - Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day. Offline conversation  - need to see if club is interested in doing a coordinated event
