Our mission:

The objective of this organization shall be to develop the appreciation of homebrew and commercial beer, and to promote knowledge of the various arts of brewing.

The Kansas City Bier Meisters was founded in 1983.  We are the oldest home brewing club in Kansas or Missouri. We currently have over 60 active members.  Our membership is open to home brewers but we also welcome non-brewing beer enthusiasts from Kansas City and the surrounding areas.  KCBM is open to beer brewers at all levels, beginning, intermediate or advanced.

Our regular club meetings are held on the third Friday of each month (except for December) to share beer tastings and exchange brewing knowledge.  We hope you will bring a 6-pack of your favorite home brew to share (cider and mead are welcome too).  You can choose to have your beer tasted and critiqued during the meeting by our members or just bring beer to share before or after the meeting.  If you don't have any homebrew, just bring your favorite craft brew.

In addition to our monthly meetings we also host a multitide of club-related events, such as big-brew day, Maifest, Oktoberfest, and a Christmas social.  You are welcome to visit if you are potentially interested in joining.
